Francis Quintin, owner of Intraspec, acts as the person responsible for the protection of personal information.

Information collected by the form

The estimate form collects the following information:

• your name;
• your email address;
• your phone number, if you provide it;
• the property address, if you provide it;
• the building characteristics you select (type, size, age, number of floors, requested tests).

This information is sent to Intraspec and a copy of the estimate is emailed to you. It is not stored in a database on the site.

The estimate calculator itself runs in your browser. Until you press the send button, nothing is transmitted.

The contact buttons open your own email software or your phone. You decide what you write and when you send it.

Information you send us

When you write to info@intraspecs.ca or call 514 699-6699, we receive the information you choose to share, typically:

• your name;
• your email address;
• your phone number;
• the address or type of the property concerned;
• any other detail you consider useful.

Use

This information is used only to:

• answer your request for information or an estimate;
• schedule and carry out an inspection;
• produce and deliver the inspection report;
• follow up and meet applicable legal and accounting obligations.

No information is used for prospecting without your consent.

Service providers and communication outside Quebec

Two providers are involved in the operation of this site and our communications:

• Vercel Inc. hosts the website. On each visit, your IP address and technical connection data are processed on servers located in the United States.
• Google (Google Workspace) hosts the info@intraspecs.ca mailbox. Emails you send us are stored there, on servers that may be located outside Quebec.
• Resend delivers the emails sent by the estimate form. Form information passes through this service, located in the United States.

These communications outside Quebec have been the subject of a privacy impact assessment. Both providers offer adequate protection through contractual commitments and recognized security measures.

Intraspec never sells your personal information and does not share it with any third party for commercial purposes.

The site loads no external resources. Fonts and images are served directly from intraspecs.ca, so that no data is transmitted to a third party during your visit.

Cookies

The site uses a single, strictly necessary cookie to remember your consent preferences between visits.

No analytics or advertising cookies are active. If such tools were added, they would fire only after your explicit consent, and you could withdraw it at any time as easily as you gave it.

Retention and destruction

Requests received by email are kept for twelve months from the last exchange, then deleted.

Files for completed inspections are kept longer, for as long as required by applicable professional, legal and tax obligations. They are then destroyed or anonymized.

Security

The site is served entirely over HTTPS. Access to emails and files is limited to those who need it to deliver the service, and protected by two-factor authentication.

Your rights

At any time you may:

• request access to the personal information we hold about you;
• request its correction if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
• withdraw your consent where the law allows;
• request de-indexing of information concerning you;
• obtain your information in a structured, commonly used technological format;
• file a complaint with the Commission d'acces a l'information du Quebec.

We answer any request within a maximum of 30 days, at no charge.

Privacy incident

In the event of a privacy incident presenting a risk of serious injury, Intraspec promptly notifies the individuals concerned and the Commission d'acces a l'information, takes the measures needed to limit the harm, and records the incident in a register kept for that purpose.

Changes

This policy may be updated. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page. Any significant change will be flagged on the site.
